Well after over a year of using this skin care regimen, I was left wanting more. So after talking to my friends about what's good out there and what's hype, I decided buy up the whole Prescriptives regimen for normal skin.
I know, I know. You are asking, "Why would you do that? The company's gone out of business?!" Hehe, I'm weird like that.
Well, as luck would have it, I have fallen in love with the Px products, and alas cannot repurchase. I did purchase back-ups so I'll be good for a while, but I do have some other brands in mind once I do finally run out.
Anyway without further ado, here's the new skin routine:
AM
Prescriptives All Clean Foaming Cleanser for Normal Skin (dc'd)
Prescriptives Immediate Glow Conditioning Tonic for Normal/Drier Skin (dc'd)
Murad T-zone Pore Refining Gel
HQ 4% (rx only)
Clinique Age Defense Moisturizer SPF25
Prescriptives All You Need for Eyes (dc'd)
PM
Clinique Rinse off Foaming Cleanser (to remove makeup)
Prescriptives All Clean Foaming Cleanser for Normal Skin (dc'd)
Prescriptives Immediate Glow Conditioning Tonic for Normal/Drier Skin (dc'd)
Murad T-zone Pore Refining Gel
HQ 4% (rx only)
Murad Perfecting Lotion
Prescriptives All You Need for Eyes (dc'd)
Twice a week, I use the Prescriptives face scrub and every Saturday I use Freeman's Avocado/Oatmeal clay mask (the best mask out there!)
And there you have it! The other brands I am looking to try out down the road are Shiseido, Clarins, and Fresh...
I have a break from class for the next few weeks, so I'll try to get back to posting makeup looks, yay. I do miss doing that :)
Holla! <3

Skin care update: New regimen
Wednesday, March 3, 2010
Back to Basics...I've decided...
I've decided to transition back to natural. Yeah!! I was natural all through college (maybe like for 4-5 yrs...) and relaxed back in 2005, but I think I want to be natural again. For me, relaxers are played. I get tired of getting touch ups and working so hard to replace what relaxers take away...I also miss the versatility...I do plan on wearing my hair straight most of the time, and am *possibly* considering doing research on the BKT, but for right now, I just want to stop relaxing and focus on other things...
I am currently 8 weeks post relaxer this week, and will be getting a trim this weekend. I hope to transition one full year (so up to Jan 2011) and possibly do the Big Chop at that time.
Wish me luck!! Of course I will update throughout my new journey :-)

Hair Care Rave: L'anza Healing Moisture
Hi Lovelies!!
I just wanted to post this really quickly. Taking a break from some school work. Anyhoo, if you have dry or chemically-treated hair and haven't found a shampoo/conditioner set to fall in love with yet, here's definitely one to check out.
